The mission of the Clarence-Rockland Chamber of Commerce is to promote the economic, social, political and cultural development of the City of Clarence-Rockland. We also represent the interests of small, medium and large businesses in the rural and urban sectors of the City of Clarence-Rockland.​

Social Media Information Sharing Rules
Clarence-Rockland Chamber of Commerce
These rules outline how information may be shared on the Chamber’s social media platforms for the benefit of Chamber of Commerce members.
1. Eligibility

Information sharing on the Chamber’s social media platforms is reserved exclusively for active Chamber of Commerce members.
2. Type of Content Accepted

The Chamber promotes content that provides a benefit to members, including but not limited to:

Events and networking opportunities

Educational or professional development resources (workshops, webinars, guides, articles)

Community initiatives or announcements
-
Recognition of member achievements (awards, certifications, milestones)

Sales, discounts, promotions, or advertising posts are not permitted.
3. Content Creation

The Chamber does not create social media posts on behalf of members.

All content must already be published on the member’s own social media platform.
4. Submission Process

Members must submit their request by email.

The email must include:

A direct link to the social media post to be shared (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

Screenshots, flyers, or text-only requests will not be accepted.
5. Sharing Method

Approved content will be shared or reposted directly from the member’s original social media post.

The Chamber reserves the right to decline any request that does not comply with these rules, does not align with the Chamber’s mission and values, or does not provide a clear benefit to Chamber members.
6. Final Approval

All requests are subject to review and approval by the Chamber.

Submission does not guarantee that content will be shared.
These rules are intended to ensure fair, consistent, and professional use of the Chamber’s social media platforms for the benefit of all members.
